Hangin' out in Jennie's Room

Good luck to everyone how is writing a test in Christian Era right now... I knew there was a reason I didn't take that class!! It seems like a hard test as well, so again good luck.

I don't really have too much to report, I had a pretty laid back weekend. Friday was a good night. Amanda, Ty, and I went to see Phil's improv show, and as always he was amazing. I give a lot of credit to that guy, he can sure think on his feet. I could never do that. If you have not gone to see the show I recommend it, well if you are into improv I guess that would make it better.
So yeah Friday night 11 pm, at the Off Broadway theater. Then after the show Ty and Phil came over and we just hung out for a while and that was Friday. Saturady was not so exciting. I stayed home and cleaned all day, then I got into one of those moods where you don't want to hang out with anyone and I did just that. I felt kind of bad because a few people phoned and I just didn't answer. If you are one of those people, I am very sorry, but you wouldn't have wanted to hang out with me anyway, I was in a terrible mood.
Sunday was a good day, I went to Westside church with Jennie K. and Jennie Y. The band from school was playing and they were awesome, they always are. They are going to be playing at college connection, another thing that I think people should come out for. Bowling on Friday!!! Woot Woot!!!

Well Jennie is back now and I am going to hang out with her for a while.

Life is Good

Ok, right now I am wondering why I didn't take History of Christian Era. Everyone is in that class, and I have nothing to do. So I thought that I would write a blog. I think that I will talk about my good friend Amanda a.k.a Rosa a.k.a Slamhog!!!!! LOL

So Amanda for all of you who don't know her, she is so awesome and HOT!!! She has been going to SBC here in Saskatoon, and she will be done in July when she will become a real live Adult. HOT adult! She will have a steady job and everything. She is a year younger than me, and she seems to be moving along faster than I am. We were in the same place this summer, than WHAM before I knew it she was all grown up. I guess the fact that I sometimes still think of myself as 19 makes it a little harder to think of myself as an adult.
Anyway back to Amanda, who is HOT. Yesterday, she finally entered into the wonderful of email. Ok well it isn't that bad, she has had an email address for a while now, but she never uses it ever, and yesterday I got an email from her and I almost crapped my pants! I was skocked and amazed, and I couldn't wait to open it up to see what it said, so here it is!

Ok so it was nothing too exciting, but it really made my day! Amanda is the greatest and if you have not had a chance to meet her yet, let me know and we can set something up. I highly recomend it!!!! If any of you want her email let me know and if I approve of you sending her emails I will let you have it.
Anyway Chapel is soon so I have to get going.

I DID IT!!!!!

I told my Dad last night that I was a Christian and that I was going to Bible School. So all of you out there that were praying fo me, thank you so much. You are all the best. I would also like to give a shout out (LOL I said shout out) to Courtney Bowman, she gave a really great message on Sunday when we were in Melville and I think that was my inpiration to call my dad and tell him. So thank you Courtney!
My Dad was really cool about the whole thing and I am glad about that. So all my fears were pointless and about nothing. Anyway this is going to be short because I have an assignment to do! Oh Longenecker how I am not overly exicted to read you and write a paper about you!

I Love Blitz...
So I am I sitting in the computer lab at the school and I am thinking about the weekend I just had. It was such a good weekend. I went out with my Blitz Team on Friday morning at about 9 am to Melville and Yorkton. Well wait lets go back a few days and start from the beginning.

We start this semesters Team on good and bad notes. Megan and Tim are gone, and Charlotte has decided to become a trader and moved to the music Blitz team... What a lady, just leaves us in our time of desperation. Anyway the good note was that Ty was joining, and I becoming a new friend of Ty's was rather excited. So yeah things are going ok. There was only four people at our first practice so I was getting a little worried, but I knew that it was going to be ok. Then I find out that Amanda Hacking (our leader) was not going to be coming back for this semester either so then the panic was on... well not really a panic but there was concerns. So fast forward a little bit to Wednesday's practice and we find out that our team is in charge of running a mini youth retreat!!!!! SAY WHAT!!!!!! We have two days to organize a whole weekend, we had to do everything from speaking to games it was nutz!!! Some of us didn't know the skits we had to do, we didn't know what we were speaking on, we had no games really planned, it was a little scary.

So back to Friday (which was Ty's birthday), Rus, Marilee and myself go just after 8 am to get the van we had rented, and Rus goes I don't really know where the place is where we have to get the van. "I was told it was some where on 8th street by the Co-op and the Super Store" He says. So we drive down 8th and we are looking and we can't find it. So I say "why don't we stop in at the Co-op gas station and asks someone", and low and behold there attached to the Co-op was the Budget place we were looking for! We had a good laugh about that!

Ok, we get the van and go back to the school to get everyone loaded up, and we were on the road by 9 am. It takes about 4 hours to get to Melville, so we had some time to laugh and sleep and just hangout. I love our team we all get along so well and we are almost always laughing about something. Oh Yeah Melissa and Piper (who we have decided looks like Mickey Mouse) came along with us to do music with Kristine. I figure they are just part of the team now.

Anyway we got to Melville and things went so well! It all came together in such an awesome way I was amazed. Phil spoke the first night and he was so good. The kids loved it. Then came the time when we were going to go to bed, well I have to say that I only got an hour of sleep that night, but it was ok I had fun. Then we hung out with the kids and I spoke and Rus spoke and it was awesome. I think Rus was a little discouraged because one kid told him his message was "a little lengthy", I was funny because of who the kid is, but I think Rus took it hard. I have to say I thought Rus did great.

Yeah then we went to Yorkton and It was good too, that is a whole different story but this blog is getting really long and I am sure you all stopped reading a while ago, but what I really wanted to say is I love you all Blitz team you made my weekend awesome. Thanks to everyone in Melville and Yorkton they are great people, I think that God is really moving in both those towns.

I am going to go home and take a nap!!!

Back to school! Back to school, to prove to Dad that I'm not a fool! I got my lunch packed up, my boots tied tight, I hope I don't get in a fight!!!

Well here I am in a New Year and back at school. Things are going really well this year and I am excited to see what God has in store for me as I work my way through this school and into this summer and so on. I have to admit that I am kind of scared because I really don't know what I am going to do with myself after this school year. Oh well I guess I just have to wait and see.
What else do I have to say right now, not too much really I am kind of bored right now I am in Jennie's room writing this, waiting for everyone to get out of class so I have something to do! I hate waiting it is the worst. Then chapel time in 15 mins. Jennie should be here soon I am excited.
Oh yeah I guess I should let you all in on a little secret I have been neglecting to tell you, I didn't tell my Dad. I know you are all shocked and appauled at me right now, and you have every right to be. I was so excited that I was going to tell him and there was a few times I guess where I could have tossed the idea out and see what he had to say, but when it came down to it I just couldn't do it! I am sorry all of you who were praying for me and such. I will be sure to let you all know when I actually do tell him! It is really hard to talk to my Dad, I know that is a terrible excuse but that is what I am going to keep telling myself! So yeah that is that!
Jennie just got back! Woot Woot, now the party can really start! Well for 5 mins unitl we have to leave, but really if any of you know Jennie K. you would know that in 5 mins you can have a pretty sweet party! She is so awesome! I had a sleep over here in Saturday night and it was the bomb! We laughed we cried and we laughed some more! I don't think there is really a time when we hang out that we don't find something funny to talk/laugh about. This is a rare find so I will be sure to keep her around! She has made my school year so great! So Jennie if you are reading this I love you, and we should be friends forever! LOL

Anyway I gotta get going to chapel so I will write again another time!
